The HipKi is a dynamic hip abduction orthosis that holds the hip in an abduction position using half-shell thigh cuffs and a bellows. By combining the individual parts of the orthosis, optimal adaptation to the patient is possible.
The bellows (not included in delivery), which are available in different hardnesses and sizes, allow multi-dimensional movement. The modular system can be supplemented with movable pads to limit hip flexion.
Half-shell lower leg cuffs are also available as an option. These are connected to the thigh cuffs via a medially attached 1-axis knee joint.

Advantages:

  • Rapid post-operative care possible
  • Easier adjustment thanks to modular system
  • The individual parts can be individually combined with one another

Use:

  • Post-operative

Scope of delivery:

  • 1 pair of lower leg cuffs
  • 1 pair of thigh cuffs
  • 1 pair of hip pads
  • 1 set of adapter plates for attaching the bellows (The bellows are not included in the scope of delivery. These must be ordered separately hier.)

Ordering information:

  • The HipKi hip abduction orthosis can also be individually assembled from the individual parts.
