The SPRINTER SUPPORT is another variant of the SPRINTER ankle joint.
The attached gas pressure spring supports the dorsal extension of the foot. The gas pressure spring is available in different strengths and can be replaced if necessary.
Due to the different interchangeable wedges, the range of motion can be adjusted at any time.

Benefits:

  • The gas springs are interchangeable.
  • The gas springs are available in various forces (10 N to 100 N)
  • Interchangeable wedges are available in different graduations (0°; 1.5°; 3°; 4.5°; 6°; 8°; 10°; 12.5°), and the range of motion can be individually adjusted by filing the wedges.
  • The dorsal and frontal stops are replaceable separately.

Area of application:

  • for AFO, KAFO and HKAFO
  • For all paralysis or paresis where the function of the dorsal extensors needs to be compensated or the plantar flexion should be dampened.

  • Sprinter Support 19: body weight of up to 20 kg
  • Sprinter Support 22: body weight of up to 35 kg
  • Sprinter Support 25: body weight of up to 50 kg
